Name: Tracey Field

Title: Intervention Specialist K-12

Welcome to my classroom!! My name is Mrs. Tracey Field and I am the MH teacher at Sheridan High School for grades 9-12. I have a BSS Degree in Child & Family Development with a background in special education from Ohio University. I have a Masters Degree in Special Education K-12 from Mount Vernon Nazarene University.

Both my husband and I have been born and raised within Northern Local and we are 2001 graduates of Sheridan High School. Together we are a family of 6 with three little boys and a beautiful guardian angel. Our kids keep us on our toes and on the go. They are full of life and we live vicariously through them and have enjoyed and continue to enjoy each day of our lives together.

As an intervention specialist, I am passionate about my job and the students that I service. For every student that walks through my door, I make it my priority to teach from the heart, understand the life and needs of my students, and give them the survival skills needed to lead an independent and successful life. My classroom environment is inviting, colorful, fun, calm, and welcoming. I have a 'come as you are attitude' and love when my students can let down their guard and truly be who they want to be. I taught 13 years at the elementary level and this is my first year at the high school. I am in my 14th year of teaching and I truly enjoy my position and know my heart is in the right place.
